I should have known better . . . in my 30s, my health bombed because I didn’t take care of my sensitivity, empathy, and intuition.

Seriously, one day I was walking and chasing my little girls, and the next day I had a whole new reality of wheelchairs, canes, and pain pills.

I was on the exact same path as my Grandmother -- it was one her greatest fears. The genetic disorder that we both share had caused her to spend the last decade of her life completely confined to a hospital bed. If I wanted a different reality, something had to change.

And, YES!, I should have known better — I’m a PhD-psychologist-turned-artist and I wasn't taking care of myself.

It was a long, hard road, but I dug deep and (eventually) found the tools to turn my sensitivity into a strength I swear by. Tools that changed the trajectory of my health.
